1. Create boards with keywords research in your title and description.

Pinterest has fantastic search capabilities. Help more people to find your business by using keywords in your board titles and description. Be sure to select a category for each board to help people find them and for Pinterest to recommend your board as well.


2. Use the description to share your ideas in a unique way.

Again, use keywords in your description, and keep in mind that people may tweet your pins. The text in the pin description is very important for visitors, so keep it short, interesting, and relevant.


3. Create vertical images to cover maximize place on-page.

Pinterest images should be long and narrow to take up the maximum amount of visual space and draw attention. Look at your favorite pins and see what the images have in common to see what types of images are getting repinned and shared. I create images up to 1000 pixels by 1500 pixels. This creates an attractive invitation to repin your pinned article. Add your custom Pinterest image with your brand and website. Add up to maximum words of text to describe your pin using relevant keywords (allowed 500). Remember that people Tweet directly from Pinterest, so keep it concise and interesting. Add a link of your blog article or home page of a website in the description of the pin. Edit the pin to add the link there.


4. Create relevant links to your website or blog

You have two opportunities with each pin to add your link: one in the description and one in the pin source.


5. Pin your blog

Embedding pins on your blog website is easy and a great way to get more Pinterest repins so try to embed more. You can create an embed code on the Pinterest site.

You need to be careful which boards you join because all the pins will also show up on your presence on Pinterest. You can only select the cover photo if you are the owner of the group's board.
